About us

Airon Corporation is dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of pneumatic respiration products for emergency and critical care. Airon’s core product is the pNeuton ventilator for use in Hospitals, MRI, air transport and EMS. pNeuton has an internal PEEP/CPAP system and patient disconnect alarm. The ventilator has CE mark.

pNeuton may look like a new ventilator but has simply made it’s public appearance. In fact, pNeuton has been in clinical use since 1986. Take a peek at pNeuton’s history.
The air ambulance team at the University of Florida, ShandsCair, was unsatisfed with the transport ventilators available in 1986. They wanted higher pressure capabilities and internal CPAP.
The first prototype was developed and received the hospital’s IRB approval as a custom device for use under the direct supervision of a physician.
ShandsCair used the prototype ventilator for many years in over 1,500 critical care transports.
In 1990, the hospital’s Respiratory Care Service needed their own ventilators for hospital-wide transports. Additional prototypes were made and put into use.
Those great little prototypes have since been replaced with a fleet of pNeutons. They are used everyday transporting critically ill patients to all areas of the hospital.

pNeuton Transport Ventilation

pNeuton (pronounced “new-ton”):

a small, lightweight transport ventilator designed for use on patients from pediatric to adult in size. Operating without the need of electrical power, the ventilator can care for the most difficult patients wherever they may be located. pNeuton has simple to use controls with a built-in high output demand flow CPAP system. The oxygen control system allows the operator to choose between 100% and 65% oxygen for spontaneous and mandatory breaths without the need for an oxygen mixer and air tank. Use pNeuton in your ambulance, on your aircraft, within MRI or wherever you need mechanical ventilation.
