05.15 Dressings for wounds
ABD Pads

Allmed’s super absorbent abdominal pads are cellulose for extra absorbency and superior wicking. Multiple cellulose layers quickly absorb and laterally disperse fluids to prevent pooling. Hydrophobic back prevents strike-through. Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available.

Cotton-filled Exodontia Sponges

ALLMED exodontia sponges are manufactured from 100% absorbent gauze with 100% cotton filler to ensure superior absorbency. It can be widely applied in dental procedures.

Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available.

Drain Sponges

Either non-woven or 100% cotton constructed, ALLMED drain sponge features a unique pre-cut T-slit which allows it to lay flat when wrapped around a drainage tube. Non woven drain sponges are highly absorbent , low linting and fast wicking and 100% cotton drain sponges can provide natural breathability.

Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available. Sterile packing drain sponges are packaged in peel down or tear open heat seal pouches. Offered in single or double format in practical.

Eye Pads

ALLMED eye pads are built with 100% cotton outer layer enclosing a high absorbent cotton filler. They provide protection to the eye when required due to surgery, disease or injury. Usually provided in sterile packaging.

Fluffy Gauze Bandages & Fluffy Sponges

Each 6 ply,100% cotton bandage provides excellent absorbency for a drier healing environment.It stretches and conforms to a variety of patient needs.Ideal for those wound care situations where exrta cushion, protection and absorption are necessary. Superior soft, bulk and absorbency make the fluff sponge an excellent primary dressing. Because of its strength and absorbency, this sponge is ideal for pre-op prepping and cleansing, debriding and packing. Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available.

Gauze Balls & Non-woven Balls

Both gauze balls and non-woven ball are ideal selections for the absorption of blood and exudate. It can also be used for wound cleansing and for skin disinfection.

Allmed provides gauze balls and non-woven balls with various sizes. It can be made with or without X-ray detectable threads.

Laparotomy Sponges

ALLMED laparotomy sponges are made of highly absorbent cotton gauze, All cut edges are folded in and stitched evenly with a sturdy loop attached firmly to one corner. They are used in the operating rooms for bleeding control. Our lap sponges are provided in different types; X-ray detectable opaque firmly stitched in the sponges next to the loop or X-ray detectable threads that are heat bonded to the cloth. Non-washed or pre washed.

Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available.

Non-stick Pads

Absorbent core laminated by non-adherent material, non-stick pads won’t stick to healing wounds and improve the healing process.

Post-op Sponges

With extra-absorbent cellulose filled, ALLMED post-op sponges are more absorbent than ordinary gauze sponges, fully meeting all applications that require maximum absorbency.

Two types, non-woven cover + cellulose paper + rayon filler and 100% cotton gauze cover + cellulose paper + cotton filler are available upon request.

Woven Gauze Sponges

100% made of absorbent cotton fabric, ALLMED woven gauze sponges are constructed from USP, BP and EP type gauze with high absorbency and low lint. With a wide range of specifications in size, ply and thread count, they are ideal for wound dressings, wound packing and general wound care.

Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available. Sterile packing woven gauze is packaged in peel down or tear open heat sealing pouches. Offered in single and double format in practical.
