18.02.11 Thermal and thermal-transfer printers
continous thermal transfer printer

The printers of the TTC series can be installed on intermittent as well as on continuous packaging machines and are designed to print onto the top foil while it is moving. A state-of-the-art electronic controller equipped with latest 32bit RISC processor technology allows to print onto materials which are passing the print head at speeds of up to 500 mm/s. Print head widths of 53 or 107 mm, a resolution of 300 dpi and a maximum printing length of up to 2000 mm allow to utilize these printers in a wide range of applications. Layouts can be created with dedicated label creation software Labelstar PLUS. The layouts can either be stored on a memory card for operating the printer in ’stand-alone’ mode or be transferred directly to the printer via standard parallel, serial or USB interfaces. The optionally available Ethernet interface allows to integrate the printer into an existing LAN. A CD-ROM with printer drivers for all Windows operating systems, the documentation and much more is included in the delivery.

rotary printers

The AMACO rotary printer R400 is designed to print on high speed packaging machines.
General description:
The rotary printer is powered by an electronic controlled stepper motor. The speed of the print cylinder is synchronised with the web speed by means of an incremental revolution counter. So even different web speeds do not influence the superior print quality. During the standstill of the packaging machine the stereo picks up the ink from the ink unit. Printing is done while the web moves through the printer. The Photopolymer stereo sticks to the print cylinder magnetically, therefore easy to exchange. A diaphragm pump keeps the ink recirculating. Parameters for the operation of the printer are put in by a laptop, so they can be checked at any time.

thermal transfer printers

With the latest 32 bit RISC processor it achieves the speed in data preparation and print speed, which are required from modern packaging lines. The TT 20 is integrated in intermittent packaging machines and prints during the standstill of the foil which is to be printed. With print widths of 107 mm, resolution of 300 dpi and print length of up to 420 mm the module can universally operate in all sectors. For the layout creation, the label creation software Labelstar PLUS can be utilized. When using an additional module it is possible to send the created layouts to the printer or the layouts can be saved on a memory card for operating the printer in ’stand-alone’ mode. A CD-ROM with Windows printer drivers for all Windows operating systems, the most important user manuals and much more is included in the delivery.
