Company Profile: AUBMC, a national leader in healthcare & regional referral center, is the private, not for profit teaching center of the Faculty of Medicine. It consists of 420 bed hospital and provides all medical, surgical, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecological, & psychiatric services. The center offers comprehensive healthcare services, extensive tertiary-quaternary resources, medical, nursing, and paramedical training. AUBMC was the first hospital outside the USA to be accredited in 1956 by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals, and continued to receive accreditation until 1986, when surveys stopped due to prevailing conditions in the country. In October 2007, AUBMC passed successfully the JCIA survey.
