About us:
Company AMICO was founded ten years ago. Since that time the company has been well known as the leader in production of X-ray equipment and accessories in Russia. We have hundreds of customers in Russia from small local hospitals to large clinics. You can find our equipment everywhere in Russia. Moreover in the recent years company AMICO has started exporting of its products - our equipment is already being used in Europe (Latvia, Bulgaria), Africa (Morocco), Asia (Mongolia), CIS countries. Everywhere due to its high quality and reliability our equipment has very good references from doctors: radiologists, surgeons, dentists.

Now AMICO JSC is a holding including Moscow office, one branch in Aprelevka (Moscow region) which manufactures X-ray systems for general radiology, ROENTGENPROM JSC (Istra and Protvino, Moscow region both) which produces chest X-ray survey systems and mobile X-ray rooms, ROENTGEN-KOMPLEKT Ltd. (Aleksandrov, Vladimir region) which produces X-ray protective accessories and film processing equipment.

Our quality management system in designing, development, manufacturing, realization and technical service of X-ray medical devices, including mobile fluorographic rooms is based on the wellknown international standard EN ISO 9001:2000. In 2002 ROENTGENPROM JSC was certified according to standard EN ISO 9001:2000 by International Certification Services SGS (Switzerland). AMICO JSC has the same certificate issued by SGS since 2003. The 2004-audit, conducted by EUROCAT Institute for Certification and Testing (Germany), has proved that the quality system of ROENTGENPROM JSC is in compliance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 13485:2003 quality management system for medical equipment producers. Also, since 2004 our low-dose digital scanning fluorograph ProScan has CE Certificate from EUROCAT Institute for Certification and Testing (Germany), fulfills the requirements according to Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.

12F9 film X-ray chest survey unit

Unit 12F9 is the best price/quality ratio solution for mass diagnosis of tuberculosis. High efficiency of screening (about 60 patients per hour) and low cost of each image make a significant economic effect.

X-ray protective cabin (lead equivalent of walls and windows is 2 mm) makes possible to install unit everywhere without special building preparation. All patient positioning functions can be easy performed from control panel with the motor driven patient foot rest.

We produce three models of each apparatus type: stationary unit, transportable unit (in boxes) and mobile X-ray chest survey complexes based on truck chassis.

Transportable unit is packed in boxes. The boxes are the parts of assembled unit. Time of assembling is not more than 2 hours for two people.

Weight of each box is no more than 80 kg. Minimal width of door for boxes is 580 mm.

Dentalix X-ray dental video-systems

Dentalix has a typical for any other video-systems set of facilities including a sensor (CCD-matrix with 20 x 30 mm area X-ray field), a frame-grabber (for a video-signal converting) and PC with a software specialized for radiological images processing and storage.

Loaded with a function of radiographic film with traditional procedures, the sensor (under an expendable coat) is placed in a patient’s mouth opposite the tooth to be observed. In some of cases, a sensor positioning unit is needed to be applied.

An image appearance on the PC display is provided with two-step conversion of X-ray beaming, first, into electric signal by sensor (CCD-matrix) and, sequentially, into digital image by frame-grabber.

It is important to be note that an exposure on the 3 x 4 cm size film, in reference to the radiation doze, is more dangerous than a fluorographic procedure, since there are no intensifying screens used and the X-ray zone is close to thyroid. With a procedure on DENTALIX, the radiation doze is about by 10 reduced.

ProMatrix-4000. Digital X-ray chest survey units based on CC

Digital fluorographic unit ProMatrix-4000 allows to get images on monitor screen instantly. The important advantage of ProMatrix-4000 is availability of two options to choose from stationary unit and boxes set unit. The boxes set unit allows to operate on-the-fly in non stationary working conditions and to move for next place of investigations rapidly.

ProScan. Low dose digital scanning X-ray chest survey units

ProScan-2000® and ProScan-7000® provide an economical solution for digital chest radiography. Main features of these units are low dose of chest screening, quality of image and working reliability.

Patient scanning provides the lowest level of patient exposure to X-ray among all digital systems made today.

X-ray detector doesn’t need special handling during lifetime cycle (12 years).

Rapan D 70 X-ray dental unit

This unit is advanced for dental radiography and belongs to “Elite” Class of the mid-frequency dental equipment family. It is supplied with an X-ray constant voltage generator.

Currently, with a stabilized constant voltage powering the radiographic image presentation is considerably improved. It is particularly important regarding to dental applications, since in this case the intensifying screens are not used. RAPAN-D70 is a facility to take an image of any object with optimal contrast due to available a variety of the high voltage sets to select.

With the unit features such as the lengthened tube (the 250 mm focus-skin distance is a recommended standard for dental units manufactures in Europe) with 33 cm size rectangular output window and the inner plumb cover, the scattering radiation level is reduced (to 10% of X-ray safety standard). In the countries where the radiation safety standards in force are not too strict, the equipment of this type is allowable to be exploited without compulsory having a special X-ray site.

Light weight and small sizes of the X-ray generator block, a 6-axis-free hinges-designed balanced flexible arm, a light pointer, an angle-meter all these features together provide easy and precise positioning.

The reliability is ensured by permanently maintained the mains voltage level automatic control, the system protecting against both industrial noises and mains voltage splashes, automatically assigned the pause between exposures parameter.

The exposure mode is available to be selected in either a way by assigning the values for “kV” and “mA” parameters or by specifying the tooth to be shot ‘address’ by its number and row (upper or lower). In the last case, the parameters can be corrected in both the patient type (men, women, child) and film type (9 types). The high voltage range - from 50 to 70 kV with 5 kV step, the mAs parameter range - from 0,1 to 21 mAs (14 points).

Digital mobile room for X-ray chest survey

Our mobile X-ray rooms were designed for mass chest examinations of rural population and for people in refugee or military camps, for children at schools, etc. You can choose between several variants of the cars:

KAMAZ-43114 and KAMAZ-4326 are well-known Russian off road trucks;
KAMAZ-4308 is a city road truck.
Different characteristics of chassis allow to choose a model which combine with local conditions.

The X-ray rooms body has been made of plastic, enforced by metal construction elements, it has good thermostatic data. The climate control system adjusts the inside temperature to normal conditions in 15 min.

This mobile room equipment may include autonomous electric power supply system, water supply, electric climate control system and hot-water heating. These resources allow to investigate the population far away from settlements during for several days.

Mobile X-ray room for mammography

In 2003 “ROENTGENPROM” started to produce mobile mammography mobile rooms for mass screening.

The transporting body of the X-ray mobile rooms is made of plastic, enforced by metal construction elements. It has good thermostatic characteristics.

The climate control system can adjust the temperature inside to normal room temperature in 15 min, when outdoor temperature is -40° C in winter time, or +40° C in summer time.

The working zone with the X-ray unit has special X-ray protective screen (Pb equivalent у 2 mm). The patient section of the mobile room is separated from the personnel area.

In the personnel room there are:

laborant’s table with portable PC and lamp;
doctor’s table with special film viewer for mammography and lamp;
wardrobe;
furniture;
mini-refrigerator;
climate control system.
The cabinet has two windows with black curtains to work with film viewer. X-ray film processor is installed in separate room. Another separate room is equipped with wash-basin and toilet.

Special electricity capacitor make it possible to work with standard power supply (220V, 50/60 Hz). For working in places without main power the diesel-electric generator can be installed in separate box.

ALPHA ST MAMMOGRAPHY SYSTEM

Alpha ST is the optimized mammography system both for basic and diagnostic use. It features a light c-arm, easy-to-use control panel and the perfected automatic exposure control.

powerful dual focus X-ray tube with tube currents 100 mA (lf) and 30 mA (sf);
the Tuned High Frequency (THF) generator to optimize the working frequency;

ProGraph-4000®. Universal digital radiographic unit

Universal digital radiographic unit ProGraph-4000® allows to carry out all kinds of radiographic investigations. This is a compact and easy to use apparatus. During examination a patient may lie on mobile radiolusent table, sit on wheel chair or stay on the floor. Images can be obtained in any spatial projections by adjusting angle.
