MySet™ Menopause

A menopause test for home use. MySet™ Menopause test is used for detection of urinary FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). MySet™ Menopause is a new rapid, easy-to-use and reliable urine stream test utilizing two-step technique. Collecting the urine sample is very hygienic with the sampling stick direct from urine stream.

MySet™ Menopause is a sensitive test for testing urinary follicle stimulating hormone, FSH. At menopause, when ovarian estradiol secretion decreases, the loss of negative feedback on the hypothalamus results in greatly increased levels of FSH compared to the levels on menstruating women.

Start of the menopause phase and cause of possible symptoms can be found by detecting elevated FSH levels in urine. The test result is read by comparing the intensities of the test and control line. If the first test result is positive, the testing is ought to be repeated after seven days to rule out the possibility of FSH peak during the menstruating cycle.
