Ani Labsystems Ltd. Oy is a Finnish biotechnology company manufacturing diagnostic kits and reagents for use in clinical and research laboratories. As an established European company Ani Labsystems is committed to developing and manufacturing high quality EIA kits for various infectious diseases, neonatal screening and other disorders.

Ani Labsystems has long experience in developing EIA assays in microplate format: One of the world’s first EIA tests (Toxoplasma gondii IgG EIA) in microplate format (1982)

High quality is a natural demand in diagnostic field. The quality assurance of the company has been based on the standards ISO 9001 (since 1994) and EN 46001 (since 1997). Most of the products are CE-marked, and ISO 13485:2003 certificate has been issued to the company in 2004.

The company was bought in 2002 from Thermo Labsystems by experienced entrepreneurs well-known in diagnostics. Ani Labsystems belongs to a group of companies all active in the health care sector.

In the future Ani Labsystems will strongly invest in developing new diagnostic tests and methods. In autumn 2004 the company moved into new updated facilities, situated near Helsinki-Vantaa airport and equipped with latest state-of-art instrumentation and machinery. This will guarantee the success in the future along with the experienced and motivated personnel.

C.pneumoniae

Ani Labsystems offers species-specific tests for Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG, IgA and IgM antibodies based on the latest enzyme immunoassay (EIA) technology as well as on micro immunofluorescence methodology (MIFA).

Micro immunofluorescence has an established position as a standard method in C. pneumoniae serology. Ani Labsystems’ C. pneumoniae IgG/IgM MIFA and C. pneumoniae IgA MIFA have the following characteristics:

C. pneumoniae , C. trachomatis and C. psittaci/LPS antigens available. No egg yolk control needed.
Group-specific LPS reaction eliminated.
Parallel antigen dot positioning for easier reading, all three antigens in one well.
Optimal particle (EB) density for easier reading and interpretation.
Ready-for-use reagents in dropper bottles.
Two kit sizes – 20 x 21 wells and 20 x 12 wells.

Ani Labsystems’ convenient C. pneumoniae IgG, IgA and IgM EIA kits are superior with sensitivity and reproducibility. The kits include ready-for-use reagents. They offer following advantages over MIFA:

M.pneumoniae

Ani Labsystems have developed new unique species-specific EIAs for the detection of IgG, IgA and IgM class antibodies against Mycoplasma pneumoniae in human serum or plasma.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae IgG, IgA and IgM EIA kits come with ready-to-use reagents, and IgG and IgA kits include calibrators to give semi-quantitative results. The procedures are simple and the same prediluted sample can be used for all three assays.

Ani Labsystems’ M. pneumoniae IgG, IgA and IgM EIA kits offer following advantages over traditional diagnostic tests, such as cold agglutinins and complement fixation:
