Ihren Ursprung…
…nahm das Familien-unternehmen, als Anton Hipp in Heimarbeit begann chirurgische Scheren herzustellen.

Nach Abschluß des Chirurgie-Mechaniker-Meisters und nach baulicher Erweiterung neuer Fertigungsräume an das Wohnhaus, wurde am 01.07.1970 die Einzelfirma Anton Hipp gegründet.

Die Ein-Mann-Firma fertigte ein kleines Sortiment von chirurgischen Scheren für renommierte Tuttlinger Medizintechnik-Betriebe. Der hohe Qualitätsstandard und die Zuverlässigkeit sorgte rasch für einen hohen Bekanntheitsgrad der Firma. Bald konnte das Sortiment an chirurgischen Scheren auf sämtliche Anwendungsgebiete erweitert werden.

Im Jahr 1976 wurde bereits mit sechs Mitarbeitern produziert und Dieter Hipp, Sohn des Anton Hipp, begann die Ausbildung zum Chirurgiemechaniker im elterlichen Betrieb. 1985 legte er die Chirurgiemechaniker-Meisterprüfung ab.
In diesem Jahr wurde auch die Firma in eine GmbH umgewandelt und der zweite Sohn, Gerhard Hipp, übernahm als gelernter Industriekaufmann die kaufmännischen Tätigkeiten des Betriebs.

Von da an wurden die bereits bestehenden Exportbeziehungen auf alle Kontinente ausgedehnt. Das Herstellungsprogramm, das mittlerweile über 400 Modelle umfaßte, wurde um den Vertrieb von chirurgischen Instrumenten aller Art erweitert.

1989 stand mit dem Kauf neuer Produktionsräume in der Annastraße der Erweiterung nichts mehr im Wege.
Vor allem die Herstellung hochwertiger Scheren mit Hartmetalleinlage wurde zum Produktions-Schwerpunkt.

Heute sind 20 Mitarbeiter in der Firma tätig und fertigen monatlich etwa 4000 bis 5000 Scheren in 700 Ausführungen für nahezu alle Anwendungsgebiete.
Durch die Zertifizierung nach DIN ISO 9000-2000, EN 13485 und der Richtlinie MPG 93/42EWG Anhang II untermauerte die Firma Anton Hipp ihr Können und ihre Qualitätspolitik.
