Another type of powder free gloves which is available from Asia Pacific Latex Sdn. Bhd. is the polymer coated powder free gloves.

Similar to the chlorinated powder free gloves, the polymer coated powder free gloves is with negligible level of residue powder (i.e., < 2mg/gm) and the protein content on gloves is below 50 µg/g.

The polymer-coated gloves are coated with a special polymer resin on both surfaces of gloves. Unlike chlorinated gloves, the polymer-coated gloves do not have yellowish tint of color and it is odorless.

Powdered latex examination gloves of Asia Pacific Latex Sdn. Bhd. are with beaded cuff and being manufactured with a thin coating of cornstarch powder to facilitate donning of the gloves and to prevent sticking.

The chlorinated powder free gloves

The chlorinated powder free gloves with negligible level of residue powder (i.e., < 2mg/glove) is available from Asia Pacific Latex Sdn. Bhd.

The powder free gloves are being produced by extensive washing and treating with chlorination process. With this process tackiness of gloves can be avoided upon powder removal and it also can eliminates most of the extractable latex protein.
