About us
Arrow Medical was found in 1989 by a group of medical device entrepreneurs who recognised the growing need for outsourcing of manufacturing of medical devices, especially clean room assembly. Early success led to a rapid development of Arrow Medical when a major international company choose Arrow Medical during 1994 to manufacture a high volume garment used for prophylaxis treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This requires specialist cutting and sewing operations that are now well established and highly productive parts of Arrow’s medical capability.

To remain competitive and demonstrate total customer commitment Arrow Medical made a significant investment in radio frequency (RF) welding during 1996. This commitment to quality and productivity was rewarded with more business including components for pressure relieving mattresses that help prevent pressure ulcers (bed sores).

Arrow Medical’s commitment to quality continues with further investment during 2004 in electronic and mechanical assembly facilities being established to serve customer needs even better. This was followed in 2006 when Arrow Medical diversified into injection and compression moulding for both silicone and organic elastomers. This was achieved by investing in various 20 Ton and 40 Ton presses, automatic gluing, heat welding and sophisticated inspection equipment.
