Company Profile

Company
Day to day, modern medicine records, analyses and archives millions of data. The processing of this vital information involves of course the use of adapted tools.

MEXYS is a company specialized in the design and the production of products linked to medical computer science. More particularly, MEXYS has developed a system of automatic data acquisition in the field of anaesthesia.

MEXYS has developed the eXacto system, which collects and finalizes the presentation of data emitted by monitors and other devices present in the operating theatre. The system has a tactile interface which brings together on one screen the physiological parameters of the patient as well as actions carried out and events that occur.

eXacto is compatible with all makes and models of equipment present in operating theatres.

Thanks to its user-friendliness and reliability, eXacto has already won over several dozen hospitals, notably in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

The Xlight cable 25.09.2007

MEXYS has developed an electronic system which allows the collection of the data coming from monitors, respirators and other syringe pumps..

This technology received an international certificate, held by MEXYS, which allows the automatic connection of different types of medical equipment directly onto a PC, with no intervention in the configuration parameters.

The system uses an “electronic key” which detects the reference of the apparatus. Thanks to the reading of the key, the connection of an apparatus is automatic. One can at any moment disconnect one apparatus and plug in another, in all transparency for the user.
To date, more than a hundred types of medical equipment have been certified compatible..
According to the number of connections necessary, MEXYS proposes:
The Xlight cable (one serial peripheral interface)

The Xpresso package (four or eight serial peripheral interfaces)

The eXacto software 25.09.2007

The eXacto software fits into the computer network of the hospital to give a complete solution to the management of medical data.

The solution developed by Mexys automatically records all the administrative data of the patient and fits in with other types of software for the preoperative consulting or the running of the hospital pharmacy.

Each operating block is equipped with a medical PC with a tactile screen, an Xpresso data concentrator or Xlight cables according to the number of interfaces necessary, completed by a server which centralizes the data and a management post.

eXacto 25.09.2007

eXacto is a computerized anaesthesia sheet which allows the compilation of a detailed report on the operation and the aftercare of the patient in the recovery room.

eXacto is the outcome of a fruitful collaboration between the anaesthetists and engineers of MEXYS. The result is a system which is particularly adapted to the management of information for anaesthesia.

From the first operation onwards, the intuitive interface based on a touch screen, records the physiological parameters of the patient as well as the actions carried out and events that occur..

These parameters are automatically collected and presented in real-time in the form of different types of curves. The introduction of a new element is quickly done by clicking on the required icon (drugs, solutions, blood products, actions and events). The libraries of anaesthetic products and the events are entirely user controlled.
