NovyMed International BV is a Dutch company with headquarters in the city of ’s-Hertogenbosch in the central part of the country some 45 minutes from the German and Belgian borders. The company is focussing on the sales of patient handling systems and medical furniture. The three major product lines offered in the home market are the NovyMed line, the Stryker Medical product range of stretchers and specialty beds and the Haelvoet product line. In export markets NovyMed is closely cooperating with Haelvoet NV of Belgium not just in the field of sales and servicing, but also with regard to product development and manufacturing.
We can offer a wide range of products varying from hospital and nursing beds up till specialty beds, stretchers and all kinds of medical furniture.

As NovyMed is continuously developing new products and improving/adapting existing products we will be able to introduce innovations such as a new X-ray/trauma stretcher with U-shape base and slidable litter top.

The company and its staff can rely on 70 years of experience and the engineers are well trained and take care of complete maintenance in a number of hospitals.

NovyMed International has successfully developed a new children bed featuring ease of use but especially safety and functionality.

Several large paediatric departments were involved in the development of this bed resulting in a practical but attractive design with some unique features.

Side rails equipped with integrated gas springs facilitating their lifting and preventing them from falling down; thus no longer the chance of falling side rails with all well known injury risks. And an easy lifting with only one hand.

Additional features such as the visual checking possibility of a successful and complete locking by use of colour codes. Plus an unlocking only by using two hands. Furthermore a head panel quickly removable in case of emergency or special care.

A hydraulic height adjustment from 68 to 101 cm, thus an adjustable working height. Furthermore a foot pedal operated Trendelenburg position of up to 17º, a central braking system, etc.
