This is our entry level transcranial Doppler system. However even our “baby” has features not found on many larger systems. Like all of our other systems the Nodecrest 9UB features the power of the latest PC technology. Whether you chose a laptop or a desktop you will be fully utilising the features of today’s PC performance. Remember that your TCD system is also a fully functional PC featuring Windows XP and Office XP. When you are not using the system for clinical diagnosis it can be used as a regular office computer thus increasing your efficiency. At the end of the day if you want to take it home simply unplug the USB cable and you are set.
Like all of our systems the user has a choice of reports including reports in Word format which can be easily saved, imported into other documents or simply emailed right from the system to a refering clinician or to your home.
Even our entry level system has features not seen on more costly systems. For example you can switch on a second depth and observe two spectra in real time The two widows can be syncronised so that each changes depth by the same setting, or the depths can be changed individually. All of our systems include the ability to record and playback up to an hour of spectra and audio as well as envelope data without time limit.
As all the information is stored on the PC the Doppler unit can be installed to as many systems as the user requires and it is only necessary to transport the Doppler box (which weighs less than 2 pounds) from site to site. In addition as all reports can be saved in Word format there is no need for complex PC reader software.
