The i.s.h.med epr findings server 24.09.2007
The i.s.h.med epr findings server is a document management component which provides all available digital documents for a patient in i.s.h.med. This includes:
- “External data” generated in i.s.h.med, such as Word discharge summaries, etc.
- Data from connected subsystems (laboratory, radiology, etc.)
- Scanned documents (old record, documents brought to
institution)
- Archived i.s.h.med data, especially archived PMDs
The i.s.h.med epr findings server Viewer also converts the data into a standard format (PDF, image formats (tiff, jpeg, etc)) and displays it in the patient organizer and in selected views.
The i.s.h.med epr findings server can and must manage different storage locations. In this way, DICOM series are normally stored and archived there. However, as soon as a series is connected with a patient, the i.s.h.med epr findings server can recognize it and know its storage location.
If data is exchanged with partners involved in the treatment, the i.s.h.med epr findings server provides the basis for the data – converted into standard format - being made available outside of the productive system and thus not impairing performance.
The i.s.h.med epr findings server is developed jointly with Yanistra.
